It can be done with two or three six foot long wood top fold up tables and some wood work. I'm sure Paul could come up with something. It is a good idea I think.

Maybe this is something that can be looked at for future races. We just need to make sure it is pittman friendly and driver accessable (with ease that is).

I agree we may even have to open up pit lane a little more..... or not. We'll just have to see what we can come up with.

I think a raised pit row would be cool. :)How probable is it that someone can come in too fast, jump off at the top of the elevated pit and hit someone in the head?

Well, the raised pit lane should be done by the Aug 18 race. As far as coming in to fast and hitting someone, you will have to turn in to pit lane like before then get squared up with the incline to pit lane. If you are coming in to fast your more than likely not going to make the incline anyway. So everyone will have to slow down, plus I am sure they are going to say something about it in the drivers meeting about coming in slow so you don't take off anyone's head. There will be a small wall on the outsides of the pit lane so you can't easily drive off the side, and on the pit guy/gal's side there will be a platform for your RC to sit on for fueling, etc. up and out of the way of others going down pit lane. It is also a strong possibility that there will be an shelf under the pit lane for your starter box, fuel bottle, and fuel gun, etc. to sit while waiting for you person to pit. This way they guys with the fuel guns can sit them down without getting them dirty. Paul even mentioned about making some kind of holster for the guns to go in. I will hush for now.

We need to order some more (and bigger) number decals to hand out at the races. Just crossed my mind. A load of dirt would be nice too.
